WSA Fall Conference

in

The Wisconsin Sign Association held its annual fall conference October 6th and 7th in Danbury, Wisconsin. Along with some of the best weather you could ask for and fall colors at their peak, it was just another reminder why we live here in Wisconsin. The conference had a wide range of speakers such as U.L., OSHA, The Signage Foundation, a social media expert, as well as a number of vendors showing off their new products. One of the greatest things about these meetings for me is the face-to-face networking and information that comes from those contacts. Some of the things I learned are:

• All across Wisconsin business is up.
• Many sign shops like us here at RLO Sign Inc. are working over time and are also adding employees.
• Customers are again asking for designs that will make them stand out.
• Quality does matter again.
• Customers are looking closely at what they are buying, not just looking for whatever is the cheapest.

This news is great for everyone in business in Wisconsin! The sign industry's customers are businesses and when our business picks up, it means our customers' businesses are also. A great economic indicator!
